Neuroscience & Ageing Biology

The Neuroscience and Ageing Division at CSIR-CDRI focuses on brain function, neurodegeneration, and ageing, with research spanning neuropathic pain, stroke, depression, and disorders like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Integrating neurobiology, pharmacology, and advanced imaging, the division aims to discover new drug targets and develop innovative therapies to promote healthy brain ageing and combat neurological diseases.
