Role of SIX3 Homeodomain in the disease Holoprosencephaly
and its interactions with Rhodopsin
Our research interests fall under the general concept of understanding the structural basis for biochemical function, specificity and recognition of proteins. In addition, we explore novel molecular entities which folds into unprecedented structures and these projects by their nature are collaborative and collegial. Therefore, in our laboratory we use variety of techniques, including high-resolution NMR analysis of molecular structures, Circular Dichroism (CD), SPR, recombinant protein expression, biochemical assays, protein-ligand interactions, organic synthesis involving peptides, peptidomimics etc.
